The Point: Leave the Rich Alone!!! Why Do Billionaires Feel Threatened?

Silicon Valley billionaire Tom Perkins garnered headlines recently by comparing the persecution of the rich to the Nazis' treatment of Jews in Germany. His complaint was no isolated incident, as complaints from the super-rich about being under attack and the victims of class warfare have become commonplace.

So where do the excessively wealthy get the idea that the 1% need to fear for their safety at the hands of the 99%? And with the wealthy feeling like they're under attack, what hope is there today for the kind of change that can address income inequality, bring the financial system under some semblance of control and restore the American dream for the majority of lower and middle class Americans?

Is that a bad thing?,If you consider the way the Rich:

Have been robbing the Middle Class blind for generations and forcing them into Poverty.

Have relentlessly campaigned against Unions and a Fair Wage for the least among us.

Have hoarded their Money, thus taking it out of circulation and preventing the flow of Capital that keeps the Economy energized.

Have raped the Planet of it's resources and destroyed the Environment.

Well, maybe a little Socialism could change some of that behavior.

Feel free to add more Haves....

The premise was that by giving more money to the One Percenters in the guise of tax cuts, they would "reinvest" in America, therefore creating jobs. Instead, they hid their new-found swag in foreign tax havens while reinvesting in jobs overseas.

They lied to us. Now it's time for them to pay up.

Edit: The One Percenters had no intention on helping working Americans and now they're laughing all the way to the bank we bailed out.
