He kept getting caught with drugs and she would believe him when he said it was a friend's, room mate's, planted by the cops... This last time there was no getting around it. He missed court hearings, and even though mom and dad hired an expensive attorney, offered to pay for an $80,000 rehab, the Judge sentenced him to the rehab in the state pen for 8 months (got off easy). He blames it all on mom who has finally decided tough love is the answer. Too bad the dad cannot stop enabling. Kids need to bear the consequences (reasonable) for their actions or they will never have respect.
