The Cost of Cutting America's Defense Budget (MIC = entrenched)

The saddest part of this video is all the normal citizens just ... building tanks. Not a care in the world, they may not even know (or at least, it doesn't sink in), they're just putting together bits of steel and metal.

How about building clean energy machines in these converted military factories? As was mentioned in WWII, we are against a horrible "enemy"...Global Climate Change. We now have more than 400ppm of CO2 in our air, and this needs to be lowered yesterday if not sooner. With Urgency we need to build Solar and Wind machines that will produce clean, renewable, sustainable energy. We need to do this NOW, not some time in the distant future, cause our future is gonna be really bad if we don't clean up our environmental act right now. So, if you like this idea, push it on FB, emails, letters to the Editor, letters to Congress and the President, etc. ACT now, as the window is "closing..."

The one you WON'T hear legislators rail against since it's cleverly entwined amongst ALL the states. We won't even TALK about the taxes that BAE and the like don't pay. Yeah - make sure our troops have the latest and greatest on the battlefiled, but dump their useless asses once they return to civilian life!

Cold War was real or just another excuse for the new weapons market. And it is not just what they manufacture. The young men and women who enlist are also part of the jobs program. We even have trouble closing bases that are no longer needed because it will hurt the economy of the towns. If we ever want to become peaceful again we need to dismantle the war machine and come up with ways to give the workers in this industry different jobs that are not working at McDonalds.
