It saved my job, more than once. The administration (more than one) would not go after me, for honest things I did, because there was a union in that school. They wouldn't think about it, but without a union, my career would have been destroyed because of their hatred and greed. enuf. .unions are the answer to multi national corporations or any large employer, even the government..

AMO ( American Maritime officers) and SIU (Seafarers International union) for over twenty year between the two. SIU is for non officer ratings and AMO is for deck and engine officers.

There would be no reason for unions if employers did not behave as assholes.
VZ Wireless treats there employees badly as does VZ Legacy but the difference is CWA.
