On Thursday, the Senate voted to release the records of the CIAís torture programs, and how they did absolutely nothing to help prevent terrorism around the globe. Mike Papantonio tells Thom Hartmann why this report was held for so long.

5. The ACA is a success so but Pres Obama's presidency may be defined by what he does

 

regarding our war crimes and our war criminals. He most likely will not see them prosecuted. That's a shame but looking like reality. At least he should censure them by name. Tell Iraq and the world that we are sorry.

Or he could go for a state of national denial and pardon them all.

9. I agree with this post

Of course there are blatant differences between these two when it comes to the philosophy of what is best for our nation. That said the support i would expect from either of these two for things like the M.I.C. or the other corporatocracies which are destroying our very democracy are likely quite parallel with each other and most assuredly not in the better interests of We The People....

.....and yet we may see these two as our choices!

10. I agree with you 100%.

We need good candidates, not elite insiders.

We need someone that admits to the wrong and has a desire to turn the nation around, an FDR type if you will.
