will watch this series, and stop using our exceptionally cold winter as "proof" climate change is Gore's hoax.

2. K&R!!! Once the acidity of the oceans passes a certain point, the phytoplankton will

die. The pollution we generate is responsible for the increase in the acidity increase. The world's reefs are dying for the same reason. The phytoplankton is responsible for 80% of the O2 we breath, and the reefs contain approximately 80% of the fish. Game over in a few generations! It may even be too late now!
I know it sounds like hyperbole, the end of most of the life on this planet, but we have been shitting where we eat for a long time and barely understand the forces we are messing with. Facts are facts, the acidity of the oceans are measurable. The reefs dying are observable. The phytoplankton has been studied. Scientist may not fully understand Climate Change, but so far all of their predictions have been way too conservative, the changes are happening much faster.
For something so serious we are not doing anything to try to reverse it. I liken the world's preparedness for Climate Change to BP's preparedness for the Gulf oil spill. Their spill response plan that they were required to file said to watch out for the poor Walruses in the Gulf of Mexico!
Don't they know they can't take the money with them when they die?

4. Are you saying that because you think the phytoplankton don't matter that much

Or that a doubling of atmospheric CO2 will not affect them that much?

Do you think this kind of unprovable fearmongering will get most people to action? Or will they decide that it's not worth even trying? From my observations, it seems to be mostly the latter.
