Obama's Health Secretary Resigns. Here's why it's bad news.

They're going to demonize the ACA no matter what. That's not exactly news to anyone.

The nuclear option means that there will be a contentious confirmation hearing for the new nominee, and then she'll be confirmed with about 55 votes.

And most Cabinet secretaries usually only have a shelf life of 3-5 years anyway.

3. Kathryn Sebelius

has spent most of her career working with for-profit health insurance leeches.

I appreciate her help with the ACA but I believe it can be so much better when the profit motive and all of those who have entrenched themselves in the profit model are no longer involved.
We need universal health care yesterday.

4. Just the opposite, in fact

I can see this response in a debate:

Secretary Sebelius ensured the ACA surpassed all initial sign-up goals, despite any challenges. Now, the ACA will continue to move strongly forward, for a simple reason--the more people know about it, the more they love it."

Rachel Maddow cannot figure out why in the world Kathleen Sebelius is stepping down now, just a week after the White House’s “victory lap” on Obamacare. She said by doing this, the White House risks ruining the first positive Obamacare news cycle in years with “a story instead about firing people.”

Maddow was very visibly taken aback by the news, and couldn’t quite understand what was going on. She asked, “Kathleen Sebelius has to go? Why now? Because the administration can’t resist stepping on its own tail and turning the first good news cycle they have had about Obamacare since it passed into a story instead about firing people for Obamacare’s failures?”

Maddow pointed out that just a week ago Sebelius specifically said she was staying on until November. David Corn argued, however, that it might not necessarily be that shocking, with the White House being able to frame this as a departure after a “quasi-Mission Accomplished.”

Maddow still didn’t buy it, comparing it to a victorious sports team that “stops halfway through their victory lap to fire the coach.”

6. Honestly the health care is media political race baiting

The Affordable Care Act is just that, the way the legislation is written does not have the phrase Obama care in it. This basic debate has been a combination political conservative and liberal media mastered mental support or scare tool.

So far an important defense for the Affordable Care Act is no one is denied. Plus this insurance system is very different, everyone does not have to depend on the company you work for to have health care. That simple idea is an incredible change into a very different direction from my experience in the work place. It actually places a huge competition in today’s franchise business concept.

Today’s young minds can easily separate from the corporate monolith into independent competition that could lead to a better small business market place. In the same sense that many think Wall Street can operate twenty four seven on Main Street such as buying stocks or bonds similarly as many buy a lottery ticket. Someday it will happen so anyone can get the chance to sharpen their talent to compete with that so called investment banker.

No there is nothing curious about getting rid of the boondoggle of the old Health Care System. Very interestingly the Secretary of Health Care is in a very compelling position with an incredible amount of work experience to join the new free healthcare market.
