Glad you're here! Totally true! These assholes do this because they have a free range - NOBODY standing up to them or confronting them or forcing them to face their hypocrisy. Or holding them accountable for their hate speech - as this guy's was. He probably never bothered to think what kind of ramifications his ordinance would have, or what cruelty and horror it would certainly unleash. All this shit from these assholes is nothing but an excuse to have the "freedom" to be a schmuck. To be cruel, rude, callous, and unfeeling to those around them who need a little more empathy, a little more kindness, a little more compassion, a little more acceptance, a little more of the Golden Rule.

It's the same with the accursed ayn rand. All she's good for is giving cover to the selfish - who worship her because they've always been looking for an excuse for selfishness, and turn it into something that's somehow okay.
