When it rains, the earth moves in Baltimore (landslide)

Better cut some more infrastructure spending and give out more tax cuts. What could go wrong?

This street is in a nice neighborhood near hopkins. When I was considering moving to charm city for a job, this was the exact neighborhood I was interested in. I didn't move there.

The section is on E. 26th Street between N. Calvert and Guilford.

The rendering on Google Earth with the 3D on shows the whole section leaning.

That's typical on a really steep hill but in this case it's kinda eerie.

And I recall someone on another website blasting everyone about sinkholes and slides, saying its not infrastructure, but all sinkholes and slides are from oil exploration and fracking.......well no fracking and oil exploration going on in the middle of Baltimore City.

It happens in Florida so often that insurance companies are limiting home owners policies on sinkholes.

I don't have pics unfortunately, but there is an enormous scary looking sinkhole where the whole side of the road has washed off. They put cones on the lane next to it, but it looks like it could still give way if they don't prop it up somehow.

There's a bridge near me that is closed long-term also for too much soil washing off.

Those of you having droughts are welcome to have some of this water.
