I'm not familiar with the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. That Matt Taibbi was invited to speak there and was received so warmly following his talk, is interesting. I'm looking forward to reading his book.

Thank you for posting.

History

The Chicago Council on Global Affairs was founded as the Chicago Council on Foreign Relations on February 20, 1922. At its inception, the council included 23 members with the purpose of opposing what they viewed as U.S. isolationism during the first World War. Ivo Daalder has served as President of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs since July, 2013.

I have been following Matt Taibbi for some time...the thing I wish is that he did not fill in the gap between his front teeth...it made him look so much more attractive...if only because he seemed shy and vulnerable.

That being said...Thanks for this video...it is very recent and very important...Love how he presents fraud against the poor vs fraud from the banks...he is a good man...but I did love that gap

for posting this. I love reading/listening to Matt Taibbi, one of very few journalists who is able to do research on his chosen topic and then translate it into English for the rest of us. I liked this audience, too. They seemed well-informed and engaged in the talk.

I will be getting his book.
