I lost my beautiful mare, Lucy, 4 years ago.

She was precious.

I adored her.

She enriched my life in many ways.

P.S. I am currently raising 4 wild rabbits. They have made it to 2 1/2 weeks.

Another 2 or 3 weeks and I will set them free.

I destroyed their nest while I was mowing.

I waited 24 hours for the mother to return.

When I checked the nest, 2 babies were dead, so I brought the rest inside.

I started with 5 but lost one last night.

He or she was special.

It couldn't move it's back legs but was getting around very well. I think it may have had internal problems as well.

I hope all the rest survive so they can taste freedom.
