Papantonio: Bundy’s Militias Turn On Each Other

Cliven Bundy has shied away from the media spotlight since his racist comments became public, but his right wing militia followers are getting crazier by the minute. And now they’ve actually turned on each other.

Ring of Fire’s Mike Papantonio discusses the latest news from the Cliven Bundy saga with author David Neiwert.

another of "desertion" and "cowardice," but I had no idea what they were talking about until now.

Tribalism, pure and simple. All outside groups or influences are an enemy, to be distrusted from a distance and actively resisted once engaged. In primitive tribal societies, it was a survival tactic, but in complex modern societies it is a throwback that serves no useful purpose other than expressing behavior and sentiment that has been hard wired into DNA and passed down from generation to generation. Yes, the oft-mentioned conservative gene. Needing identified enemies and having the upper hand in order to feel secure, they will even turn against each other given the "right" set of circumstances.

They were bound to turn on each other.

I thought Papantonio's analysis was spot on. Children with guns. I'm also hoping he was correct in his analysis of American spring. That the small turnout proves most Americans recognize how nutty these people are.

Don't trust ANYONE who is not from your group. LOL! These stupid men who want to go back in time to the wild west have had a taste of what might happen if these assholes decide to take up arms to overthrow the government. They will end up killing each other because they don't trust ANYONE!

Let the bullets fly and let their "god" sort them out.

They believe the tall tales of the crap some of the conservanazi propagandists put out. Like, 'everyone was an independent contractor in the late 1800s'. Not so.
I listened to my old boss rant about Brokeback Mountain and how it destroyed the image of the American cowboy. His vision of the American cowboy is described by reichwing nuts. According to him, only real cowboys today are trained by all these "cowboy" churches we have here in Texas.

These armed idiots at the Bundy "ranch" are the typical conservanazi militia types. They, and only they, have all the correct answers. They, and only they, are the "real" patriots because they wrapped themselves in the flag carrying a cross. They are the only ones who know how to interpret the Constitution.

When you get "know-it-all" bozos with guns, their own version of patriotism and how to conduct a "revolution", it's a recipe for disaster. They will turn on one another.

"Let it happen, Cap'n."
