People protesting the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida will be allowed to carry guns thanks to state law.
But there is now a citywide ban on the following items in Tampa:
Pieces of wood
hard tubes
anything that can be used as a club
water guns
super soakers
air guns
paintball guns
explosives
switchblades
hatchets
slingshots
brass knuckles
mace
chains
crowbars
shovels
any containers containing urine, fecal matter or other bodily fluids

10 years ago making protestors do their thing locked in a cage miles from the event was a joke on a TV show. Life imitating art I guess... So are they going to have a pickup truck full of rednecks there to hose down the protestors too?

Apparently torches and pitchforks are ok. What a relief!
Wait, I guess you could use a torch as a club, actually a shovel makes a nice club. The same for a crowbar, etc. Better not bring a cane, unless it's also a gun.
