OP
Yeah, but Cheney can speak in a low, authoritative voice so it's okay to book him on Sunday.

(46,318 posts)1. And...?
Ventura is a total kook.
I know, I know, "stopped clock" and such...
Karl Rove loves stories like this, then he can point at legitimate critics of the war criminal Cheney, and lump them in with kooks like Ventura.

(14,549 posts)4. ad hominem arguments are a logical fallacy
A logical fallacy is, roughly speaking, an error of reasoning. When someone adopts a position, or tries to persuade someone else to adopt a position, based on a bad piece of reasoning, they commit a fallacy.

The mere fact that Rove is still pontificating on the air should be something worth some thought.

He once hosted a show called Conspiracy Theory.

I find it amazing that Jesse's entire body of work in the public arena can be easily dismissed just because portions of it are pretty out there.
I'm happy my abilities as a critical thinker allow me to appreciate the good stuff and dismiss the crackpot stuff.

And, whatever you think of his conspiracy theories, hey, he's 100% correct on the Dick.
