This is why the GOP is so OFF on equality. They wrongly figured that since gays are the minority, they could use them as a wedge issue. But that only works if they are mostly in the closet! Now that the closet (except for Republicans) is becoming a thing of the past everyone knows and loves a gay person, they are no longer defined by others, and it's personal.
