5. K&R because his personal evolution is an example. As he spoke of his childhood, his grandmother and

her trauma (I've known survivors of the camps, it never goes away) and then to gain the insight of the universality of pain in others, is how we survive.

I found this heart rending and genuine, and thought as he expressed how he thought he was protecting his grandmother, did the Germans think the same?

Do the Tea Baggers think the same, when they make their hateful rants?

Humans are to be pitied and not hated, when they cannot see past their own trauma to accept the pain of the other, that they are causing in an endless cycle and in this case, for profit and power.

The LEO he spoke with, also believes he is doing a good thing and protecting his community. I feel sad for the human race as our natural way of learning is turned against us, again and again.

Fear, then hate, then hurt and the cycle repeats. This is why Nelson Mandella and MLK, Jr. called for love and forgiveness, despite the despicable acts committed against POC and the Other anywhere.

It is so hard to forgive, when one's body is still vibrating from the trauma inflicted. It is like falling from a great height and trying to do something else, transforming oneself before one finishes, but it can be done, to break the cycle at last.

We should kick this to be seen, it is beyond taking sides. I've not posted on most of theads because some are in spirit with the hate. One can have that if one needs to continue, or can solve the problem.
