'Anything other than social media?' State Dept's MH17 evidence secret

State Department Deputy Spokesperson Marie Harf described Russia's statements on MH17 plane crash as "misinformation" - but when reporters asked her whether Washington would be releasing their intelligence and satellite data, Harf only replied "may be." So far the US has been backing its statements by social media and "common sense.

She had her talking points and repeated them...I guess that means I hate America because I doubt we are getting the truth...and I am a Putin lover for the same reason.
We have to be for them or against them...line up and shut up.

I don't know who fired the missile, but her talking points are weak.

1) She talks about the Russian Separatists youtube video. In the version I saw their faces were covered, and they could have been any one.

2) She said, the Russian Separatists having an SA-11. Both sides have SA-11's.

And I can't possibly imagine what motive the separatist had to do it...or Russia either.
But Kiev has one...US aid in winning the civil war...and judging how the State Department reacted to it my guess they want to help them do it, and this could be the excuse.

The other factor is maybe someone just screwed up big time. Then people panic and say they can't let their involvement get out, and a cover up is started.

their Intelligence showed about the Malaysian Jet in transit and crash.

Remember we work with the Russians on our Space Stations so we have to have coordinated Satellites and Communications. Russians think that a Ukrainian Fighter Jet was tracking the Malaysian Boeing Passenger Jet and they say Ukrainian Radar was working overtime in the period the Jet crashed.

They had other questions and asked WHAT EVIDENCE the US has that would Conflict.

They didn't need to put themselves on the line like that. They could have held out so they didn't end up with egg splattered all over their face. I think they put that report out from a position of strength. All Kerry has is: "We Know....We Know...We Know...and the ladies at State are put out there to Confirm.

They don't care who's doing the fighting or the dying.

- As long as it ain't them and they get paid.

... Harf didn't seem to me to be the sharpest knife in the drawer.

I realize I may be alone, but I was decidedly unimpressed by her performance in this particular press conference.

but after a week of nasty rhetoric against Russia it all came down to Social Media...to tweets ...its disrespectful to the world and to us Americans. The Russian say there was a US Satellite in the area and they ask that we release that information. How about we release the data and stop using Social media to cudgel Russia ...
