Papantonio: Republicans Obsessed With Burying Obama

Republicans in Washington are determined to make President Obama a complete failure, and one of their best techniques has been to block his nominees to vital positions in the government. They’re even blocking nominees that they support, just to spite the president.

Mike Papantonio talks about the problem with attorney David Hersh.

2. The Repugs were just practicing, warming up on Bill Clinton. The next Democratic president, was

going to be hit even harder, and what a break: it looked to be a woman or a black (half white is still black to all too many). Inane accusations concerning actions that were the norm for previous presidents became the Obama norm. Stewart, Colbert and Maher are masters at pointing this out: of course, they're preaching to the choir, but here's the thing: the choir's growing. The Karl Rove Republican strategy is that of a dying party refusing to adapt and clinging to tactics that breed fear, anger and ignorance. The likelihood that they'll ultimately lose is what drives them. Then again, there are a lot of angry low information and frightene citizens out there. I could swear the angry forces protesting at the border were the same people who had recently been at the Bundy ranch. The same faces so angry as to seem beyond reason, along with mostly (except for some of the militant, militia types) bodies showing poor diets and lack of healthy physical activity. Easy for Liberals to put down, just acerbating the problem.
