The photographs and captions are the property of the Library of Congress and were included in a 2006 exhibit Bound for Glory: America in Color.

Yes, images are incredible and indelible. The Depression had such long, lingering consequences everywhere, and people who lived through it should be listened to....with respect.

and many of those show how horses were still used by many. Love the victory garden photo which shows what they rec for breakfast and lunch.
