1. Gotta love politicians who don't realize video will get out.

I don't know if I'd have said 'controlling', but he certainly felt we could be 'managed', and that what the world thought didn't matter because he could get 'America' to back him on 'a series of blows too heavy to be bourne against Gaza'.

And he's right. As long as we always back Israel and block any UN votes that would go against them, he can do pretty much whatever he wants.

2. I have always been amazed

by the fact that we are the only nation that can bring the two parties together for peace negotiations or settlement talks. It makes sense now, because Israel will not participate in any discussions that do not include the United States.

English, that was circulating during the 2012 election with him talking about Americans and the American media. I thought I saw it here, but maybe not because I couldn't find it in a search. Anyone remember that?
