Abbott has a ‘fundamental and unacceptable moral deficiency’.

Say what? Abbott doesn’t know what Nugent has said or done? But he DOES know that the rocker stands for the Constitution?? In what universe does that make any sense? As Matt Angle went on to say, this “exposes in Abbott a fundamental and unacceptable moral deficiency.”

Eric Nicholson of the Dallas Observer further questions Abbott’s judgement when the candidate is supposedly trying to combat the view that the GOP is waging a war on women. As Nicholson points out, not only is Nugent a sexual predator, but he has labelled various women political figures as a “brain-dead soulless idiot,” “varmints,” “fat pigs,” “dirty whores” and a “worthless bitch.”

The Lone Star Project released the following video of Abbott, contrasting his statements about what he will do to protect the young women of Texas with the irony of who he chose for a spokesperson on the campaign trail. If this doesn’t mobilize women to turn out in force for Wendy Davis, there is no hope for Texas.
