sight these old eyes of mine have ever beheld. My husband & I used to go to Maui at least every other winter before his Type I DM overtook him, just to see those magnificent creatures. I will never, ever forget experiencing the feeling of hearing a Humpback singing while I was snorkeling, actually feeling the song reverberate in my chest, or the sight of a female Humpback swimming up to, then parking herself under our Zodiac while 2 males fought over her 100 feet away from us. How anyone on this earth can hunt and kill these awesome beings is beyond me and something I will never, ever understand--or forgive. I boycott all products from countries that engage in commercial whaling--and the Japanese ruse of "scientific whaling" is a sick joke.

Just when I feel like the world is full of dirtbags, some people, like these whale savers, give a glimmer of hope.

I want to send this org, the Great Whale Conservancy, some cash. As with the Sea Shepherd org, it makes me feel as if I too am helping in some small way to save these great, intelligent beings.
