The war is not over for the Iraqi people regardless of the removal of US troops.

They won't let any other contractors operate in their "territory".
Multibillionaire company own the market and would attack other contractors before allowing them to take away their jobs.

There is no choice. We just need to get out of the areas so we don't have to utilize contractors at all. We sure as hell out to ban them from the states.

At one time in this 'war', there were more of these MURDERERS in Iraq than american soldiers. Tell's about bush, cheney and rumsfelds' priorities. Kill as many as possible, doesn't matter, they're just Iraquis. Hell, during the Katrina aftermath they patrolled the streets in New Orleans. I wonder how many people they killed there? Ban them? Never happen.

That is truly disgusting. I despise Blackwater (or whatever they call themselves now), for those very reasons.

Iraqi govt doing the killing cos if that was the case then the US and UN will definitely use it as a justification to invade. Dont kill your own people, its the job of our private contractors

Just like Americans wonder why we were attacked on 9/11.

Many Americans wonder because they don't pay attention.

Since a right wing moron isn't likely to listen to a moral argument, I suggest using a pragmatic one. Mercenary contractors like Blackwater (I've lost track of what their name is this week) have a vested interest in armed conflict. They may start mischief in some obscure corner of the globe because it is good business for them to do so. Also, they could contract with who knows what scoundrel of a dictator somewhere, just because he's got the money to pay them. That's good business, too. And then they could end up fighting to defend said scoundrel of a dictator who pays them against American combat troops, or being lined up against a wall and shot because they refuse to protect their sugar daddy, said scoundrel of a dictator, from American combat troops.

Yes, they should be defunded and outlawed as soon as possible. Mercenary contractors have a great capability to make the world a very messy place.
