President Obama didn't agree with. Republicans will have very little say in anything. IF they win, the win will be a seat or two. They have Senators in blue states up for reelection in 2016 who will NOT want their names on anything too crazy. I think regardless of who wins, not much will pass. The main reason among many other reasons I want the Democratic Senate is for judicial seating. We are finally seeing decent judges being confirmed with 50 votes. Two more years and our courts will be filled with mostly Obama judges which is a good thing.

Likely someone along the likes of Roberts. I would wonder again of attempts to cut SS and other programs like SS.

Yeah, I guess how that sentence/thought ends depends on how confident you are he'll veto everything he can or if he'll really try and shore up his "bipartisan" bona fides.

Identify as a Democrat, enact Republican designed policies and/or do whatever they tell you to do.

Voila! Bipartisan!

But you have a point, which is there is no true bipartisanship today.

12. Gearing Up for the Main Event?

Wouldn't all the things that Robert Reich mentions in his video merely be a prelude to the main event - impeaching President Obama? Or, they could just sit on their asses and obstruct things regarding what is presented in the video, their passive aggressive actions speaking louder than words how disapproving they are of what they see as this farce of government, and spend all their time, and the taxpayers' money, on impeachment hearings for President Obama. After all, that's what they really came to Washington to do, which they could finally do with a Republican majority in both houses. Screw the people - their own political games are more important as they drag the whole country down with them in a cesspool of spite and name calling.

When I drive on Interstate 25 from Tucson to Albuquerque, I want to scream bloody murder every time I see those atrocious billboards calling Obama the worst president ever - totally forgetting about the previous guy in office, who really deserved so dearly to be impeached, along with his puppetmeister Darth Cheney. Or, I want to get out of my car with a can of spray paint and write: Because YOU made him that way, and obstructed everything he tried to do - even your own ideas, dummies!

What Obama so dearly needs to learn is that you DON'T negotiate with terrorists - or Republican obstructionists who are, by their own open admission, out to totally destroy you. I think he is finally learning that. What a catastrophic waste of positive potential for the whole country! It always puzzled me to no end why Obama, supposedly brilliant and Harvard educated, like my own father, couldn't see that truth, but continued to try to force the square bolt into the round hole. But when I saw that his natal astrology chart had a Libra Ascendant, with Libra being the sign of the mediator and compromiser, I understood. I believe his relocated Ascendant for Washington DC, if I remember correctly, is in feisty, warrior Aries, where he has to come out fighting, and give no quarter to those who are against him, fighting valiantly for the American people, who really had his back. But my God, how much political capital he squandered with his base, the very people who put him in the White House in the first place!

And all the sleazy tactics and campaigns of the Republican obstructionists against him - boy, some of them were really little more than thinly veiled attempts at treason and sedition - or political blackmail might be another thing you could call them. Like trying to get all of Obama's top generals to quit and "go out in a blaze of glory". Gadzooks! Where do you draw the line???
