(25,699 posts)Just from watching that, the guy does have some talent to him. A decent sense of timing and pace, and how to hit the notes of absurdist humor. it's just that he's stirred that sweet molten milk chocolate comedy into the mayonnaise of conservative polemics.

(450 posts)I watched the whole thing too. Hypnotized by the train wreck that is right wing "humor."
And I'm fresh out of Brain Bleach. I'd gladly give up seven more minutes to
unsee that.

(250 posts)...money missing in NOL. I await his "comedy" about the billions that went missing in Iraq.
Conservative and funny are mutually exclusive it seems.
OnyxCollie

(482 posts)just to see if there was anything slightly funny. There wasn't a thing. Plus he insulted Cajuns, Louisianans, Kentuckians etc.
The whole thing was awful.
dballance
(5,756 posts)He managed to insult the people of New Orleans and Kentucky.
He managed to downplay the horrible conditions that followed hurricane Katrina. People in LA had really difficult times and still do and here is this ass making fun of them.
I'd like to see how he'd fair if we set him down in a devastated landscape with no utilities, no water like after Katrina.
Yep, government wasn't the answer to Katrina because government didn't do shit to help people. Thanks G. W. asshole and Brownie.

(70,447 posts)Money for the levies and pumps that was o.k.ed never got their because it went to
the war in Iraq.
The Louisiana National Guard and their amphibious vehicles were in Iraq.
And that 2,000 people died because of Katrina but Hurricane Sandy which hit
a much more heavly populated area only killed 100 .... the difference was that
Obama worked before, during, and after the storm but Little Boots, aka w, didn't
do shit

That's conservative comedy alright. Gratingly mean, stunted and unfunny.
That's why Dice Clay is so popular with conservatives but can't buy a spot on any talk show.

Fake audience.
I turned it off when the asshole said the answer for New Orleans was to cut taxesthe universal conservative solution for any problem.

(144,919 posts)Does anyone remember when fox News sunk a great deal of money into a project to copy Jon Stewart and the Daily Show? It was very very bad and established the fact that conservatives can not understand satire. Here is a clip from this horrible show

(2,830 posts)For pure comedic value, Fox News's news is funnier than the 1/2 Hour News Hour.

(44,572 posts)He runs the same game in this DU thread where he purportedly "fixes" the GOP. Once again, he spins a false history where "the government" rather than "the republican president who was in office" is the villain. Then he throws in an additional lie about Obama for the sake of being "fair and balanced." And the moral of the story? "Don't believe that governments can create jobs." And what's with the lower middle class man cave decor?

YOHABLO
(7,358 posts)This thing about Republicans on job creation. We all know what their game is: obstruct any legislation that would fund any job creation and then blame government for not doing anything about job creation.
