Social Security is a 'sleeper' issue in the 2014 Senate campaign; the mainstream media is paying little attention to the issue. Some Republicans have come out openly in favor of of privatization or at least major cuts; they call it "Entitlement Reform." Bruce Braley is one of the Senate candidates speaking out in favor of raising the cap and strengthening Social Security, his opponent favors privatization.
