Ok.
I am not sure it sends the message black people want.
But I do think white folk are going to find it funny.

(10,745 posts)Because there is a fair amount of real racism that *does* still exist in this country, at least amongst certain sections of the population anyway. And the large majority of that, with few exceptions, is *not* accidental, or unintended. It doesn't matter if said racism comes in the form of collective hate, and/or collective fear, and/or a belief that the entirety of one's own group is superior to another. It's there and it's a problem.
But sadly, it seems clear that some modern day activists just aren't hitting all the right notes. I honestly feel that we could be well served by looking back at the words of MLK, Jr. and other Civil Rights Leaders of the '50s and '60s for inspiration.
