At this point I think we should make the police carry single shot muzzle loading flintlock pistols. A single shot in a pistol that takes 30 seconds to load will cut down on the firestorms.

He might have had a knife, but he wasn't walking toward the cops, he was walking parallel to the firing squad line.

His actions were of a (justifiably) paranoid mentally ill man wanting to keep threatening individuals away from him.

This could have been handled if they'd only put the fucking guns away.

Justice will only be served for this family when the present cop culture is smashed and cops taught that deadly force is a last resort.

It would be nice if they'd test cops for steroid abuse instead of just testing poor people for drugs.

Is this stuff happeneing more and more each day? Or is it just because of the extensive reach of media, and personal digital technology that allows us to know the real frequency - or both?
