(43,044 posts)I like to watch Episode 8, Fit to Rule
It deals with Darwinism, and how those theories became
a basis for social darwinism, survival-of-the-fittest economics.
If you can find it, you'll be scratching your head.

(43,044 posts)They - "THEY' - just don't want the public to see the roots of
Social Darwinism, Survival-of-the-Fittest competition, and the various
social structures it inspired.
Fit to Rule is an extremely important video

(68,644 posts)Who owns the rights? BBC?

(43,044 posts)Don't know. Seems to me James Burke has his own website to promote
his life's work, but don't know who actually owns the copyrights. Could be
a licensing arm of BBC or spinoff, or the man himself. It's 30 years old at this
point, so no one expects to make much money from it. That in itself is sometimes
a reason why big media sells off the rights.
