Papantonio: Soul Searching For The Democratic Party

The Democratic Party took a severe beating in the midterms, and part of that is because they refuse to act like true progressives. Now its time for the party to make a choice about who they want to be.

America's Lawyer, Mike Papantonio, and attorney Michael Burg discuss the party’s options.

A number of excellent tips were given in this video: basically, get down to the most vital and pressing economic and survival issues, and make it crystal clear that you are on the side of the working person, whereas the other guys are not. You also gotta be crystal clear that you are populist and progressive, for going forwards and solving our country's problems, whereas they are for obstruction and the do-nothing status quo. You gotta make it crystal clear exactly who you are, what you are for, and the great differences that separate you from the Republicans. Differences that are so great, and so crystal clear that no amount of BS in political attack ads can obscure. When faced with a tsunami of corporate cash flowing to the other side, the automatic, knee jerk reaction is to get scared as hell and s#*t in your pants. All calmness and presence of mind vanishes, and you run helter skelter. And the other side knows that, and exploits it. But Democrats gotta get it together, and cannot let that happen. If David beat Goliath in the Bible, then maybe Democrats can figure out a bedrock sure basic strategy for winning against Republicans.
