TYT: Darren Wilson’s Testimony Is Pure Weird Racist Fantasy

"For more than three months after police officer Darren Wilson killed 18-year-old Michael Brown in the middle of a Ferguson, Missouri, street on August 9, it was difficult to get a full idea of what happened.

Wilson's grand jury testimony was secret. But there were leaks, along with a few publicly available details about his life. He is 28 years old. Six months before the shooting, he won a commendation for "extraordinary effort in the line of duty." He lived with his girlfriend (whom he married in secret in October). He had previously worked for a nearby police department that was so dysfunctional it was disbanded. Anonymous sources "close" to him told various news outlets that Brown had tried to grab Wilson's gun and that Brown was charging at him before Wilson fired the fatal shots. A fuzzy picture of Wilson and his account emerged.

Of course, it's impossible to ever know Brown's side, because he isn't here to tell it. But we have learned quite a bit about him, as well. He was "no angel." He had marijuana in his system when he died. He was college bound. He stole cigarillos from a convenience store and "strong-armed" a clerk in the process. He, at 6'5" and almost 300 pounds, was remembered by loved ones as a gentle giant."* The Young Turks hosts John Iadarola (TYT University), Ben Mankiewicz and Jimmy Dore (The Jimmy Dore Show) break it down.

1. It just gets worse and worse

after a couple of months of reading about this and watching videos and looking at the crime scene photos this is what I think happened.

Wilson saw a couple of kids jaywalking. He drove up close enough to grab Brown by the shirt and he pulled him into his vehicle. Wilson took out his gun Brown tried to push it away, he hit Wilson at some point in that struggle or maybe Wilson hit himself later, it's problematic where Wilson was hit (right side of his face), Brown broke free and started running to his home. Wilson started shooting at him missed a lot of shots. Brown doubled back because Wilson was shooting toward where people live and he wanted to give up peacefully at that point rather than risk other people being shot. (can't really tell at this point because we don't know what Brown was thinking, in situations where other people are at risk people do things like this though) Wilson is high on power at this point and kills Michael Brown.

8. I see the last part of it a little different.

Brown started running and Wilson started firring at him...hit him probably once in a minor way, and Brown then stopped and allegedly held up his hands, but in any case was giving up...then Wilson unloaded on him.
I base this on the sounds of the gunshots recorded by a neighbor...Bang bang bang...pause... Bang bang bang...

When people are in that kind of position they do not think of anything but survival.
And men like Wilson in that position think of only revenge.

the charging animal defense is bull sh!t. At 6'4" Wilson is no shrinking violet, and he is a trained police officer, who can take a bigger man down. This is racism at its most vile form.

7. Yes it is racist claptrap. Now that the transcripts are out we have seen how full of lies it was.

The prosecutor was really working hard to be sure the wild reckless racist cop who killed Michael Brown was not indicted.

I am so glad to have heard criminal attorneys and prosecutors review the transcripts and history of how the case was handled.
