I want him to RUN and WIN. Can you IMAGINE him on a stage with the Rethug contender??? At the VERY LEAST..... can you imagine him making Hillary squirm? And you KNOW she'll squirm under Bernie's thumb of the truth!

He's credible because the data is unchanging an it's got to be hammered home. We simply have no other choice.

This should be kicked so often, but here we are…

What we all saw at the Senate podium speaks volumes about the same things Democrats are supposed to hold close to our platform. We should have room for everyone. We should be an integral-centered participant of this government.

Aren't the things Bernie Sanders talks about at the VERY heart of what drew many of our ancestors to this country … to build it into what it's greatest potential? I cannot speak for those who were forced into slavery or indentured servitude. Regardless of these sins, or those reacting to the labor movement… the very movement that paid in blood for better working conditions… Can we just all stop and realize that THIS is what we need to take address first? The great American experiment cannot go forward without this... THIS is the path to saving this country.

It takes an Independent like Bernie Sanders to remind us of what it used to mean to be a Democrat. WTF!

But, it's like a cannon went off and no one heard it. In it's quake, I only smell fear. Which line are we crossing by recognizing it? What's more important… being loyal to legislative pod persons or the idea once associated WITH them?

Why do I feel like we have to SCREAM this message to the same persons who should recognize it when they hear a member of the Senate (one of the very few) who GETS IT?

Fucking hilarious that party of D begins with an Independent voice, I tell you.

and appropriate, too. Like the hope and change guy we voted for in 2008 who comes out of the shadows with a real Big Brother of a trade deal that would spell the end of American freedom and sovereignty as we know it. From now on, we gotta be hip to slick political marketing campaigns, and can no longer just blithely fall for the feel good candidate. From now on, a suitable presidential candidate must first prove themselves with a bona fide track record of fighting for the people and the working class. And Bernie fits the bill perfectly - after all, who else can we really count on to fight for us and be on our side?

The movie, "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" plot called the Pod People a race of nomadic, extraterrestrial parasites originating from a now dying planet.

Apt description and good comparison!

Like a masterful political and economic physician, Bernie Sanders does a spot on diagnosis of the country's ills and prescribes the right remedies under a comprehensive plan of treatment. This IS America's 12 Step program for recovery! But the Republithugs across the aisle, and too many Democrats on our side of the aisle, have sold out to the big corporate donors, and are dead set on giving it everything they've got to make sure that the patient doesn't take his medicine, and that none of these remedies are implemented. These days, you have to be Independent - that is, NOT bought - to see things as they are, tell it like it is, and point the way out of the woods of economic decline and drifting towards disaster.

Nevertheless, as I was watching this video, I couldn't help but think that perhaps the Koch Brothers and the Waltons, and everyone else who George Carlin was referring to when he spoke of "the owners" aren't also watching this video for some light hearted entertainment, to have themselves a long, hearty belly laugh at what they feel must be total fantasyland and quixotic tilting at windmills, considering all the power and influence they've got right now. Their dark money has bought them some dark humor indeed. But history and Mother Nature may just have the last laugh as these plutocrats send our planet into ecological meltdown, and life no longer becomes sustainable, not just for the great American middle class, but for the entire human race as a species.
