Baltimore, MD Baltimore police are under fire once again after a video surfaced of 36 year old Kianga Mwamba being assaulted and tased by an officer, while filming an arrest the officer was making in the street back in March. The out of control officer attempted to delete the video, but it was pulled from the cloud by the womans children and posted online on Monday.
Mwamba had pulled up to the scene of an arrest and began filming after she allegedly saw the officers kicking the suspect they had on the ground. After being yelled at by officers, she responded that she knows she can record- as her father is a police officer. The officers conceded she may film (as if she needed permission), but demanded she pull over and park her car.
All right, Ill park, Mwamba said.
You need to pull the car over, an officer responded.
I am about to pull over, she replied.
As she starts to comply and pull her car over, you hear Mwamba scream, why would you do that?
Moments later she is yanked from the vehicle and thrown to the ground, tased, and verbally abused by the belligerent officers. One particularly heinous officer refers to her as a dumb bitch.

(5,178 posts)As soon as they are given the slightest of reasons they launch into expletives and insults that are totally uncalled for. Instead of being taught to deescalate situations it appears to me they are practicing the opposite at all times.
I was pulled over once for finishing a left turn after the light had gone red. I was clearly past the crosswalk and would have impeded oncoming traffic. I knew I was in the right. It was the first time I had been pulled over in years and I have never had a ticket. I fought this one as well and of course, it didn't stick.
The reason I mention it is as I was sitting in my car after pulling over the officer finally approached my vehicle, leans down into my face and screams at the top of his lungs "What the fuck do you think you are doing?". Really? I made a left turn. Was that called for? I wanted to punch him in the face. In my heart, I feel that is exactly what he wanted me to do.
