i guess the people make sure the cat is very well fed before putting the 2 together? i honestly don't think a bird would survive this encounter with my cats. that's adorable

I thing they need to be raised together. I was bottle raising a kitten and had a new young budgie, and the budgie wanted to be friends with the kitten. The kitten reciprocated. When the kitten got older I worried that instinct would kick in and I kept them separated. Now that I've seen how many animal species can be friends for life, if raised together, I wish I'd let them stay together.
