as michigan goes, so goes america? the voters put snyder in and hopefully they'll realize what he is. A dismantler. Michigan will never have emer. mgrs, for any predominantly white town in financial difficulty and that fact is being glossed over. Oh no! Not the racial card. Yes Vern, repugs are by and large, racist pigs/snakes full of hate. And yes Vern its okay to return that hate in spades.

6. Rachael's civility is one of the attributes that makes her so powerful.

No opponent can claim she treats them unfairly. I'm glad she doesn't descend to the same hateful exclusionary rhetoric of the other side.

On another note, I notice the MSNBC art staff has reversed the stars on the GOP mascot. In this video they're right-side up like normal stars, not the upside down satanic stars the GOP chose in 2001.

7. Michiganders have been saying this for years.

It's not that we don't care: it's that no one ever listens to us, Democrat or Republican. I've heard high-up Dems flat-out tell the rank-and-file that we're wrong and don't know what we're talking about (for the 2008 primary--we were right), and I've heard local GOP members snarl and complain that their higher-ups ignore them, too.

Those in power in Michigan are all in each other's back pockets, and no one listens to the 99% here. No one.
