Our Senator Brian Schatz explaining his thoughts about the vote he took on the omnibus bill.

Kind of puts it in context. I'm glad our Mazie Hirono voted against it, but I feel better hearing from Brian about where he's coming from with this.

Maryland's two senators voted in favor of the continued corruption of back door last minute dealings, even though I have to give them credit they were not in the house chamber when this shenanigans was happening there was different bill of compromise on the table, which did not have these riders.
But the house pukes knew and 57 democrats voted for this bill, and if they had not then Boehner and his band of the DO NOTHING CONGRESS would have gone down in flames and would have been scrambling, and if the president had waited a couple of days then he should have said I will veto this legislation, because of these riders, but he did not .
So what if the democrats would have taken the heat for a shutdown, its called principles and what is right for the poor middle class and everyone that needs clean food, water, food, air, mail delivery, pensions, health care, campaign contributions would have understood what was happening, the republicans would have had there backs against the wall, and the lobbyists and greed would have been broken.
I commend Senator Shatz , he has PRINCIPLES, I wish our crew had some today
