it's not only in the us where ghetto means the poor (typically black) quarter of town.

ghetto -- was that 'ghetto' has a different meaning outside the US, namely, a jewish area?

If you didn't care and were only interested in the video, why comment at all, and why argue with what's self-evident? That's not an African ghetto; i.e. not poor.

with a long-winded and useless side-track into jewish ghettos in Africa, claiming that ghetto meant something else to everyone but americans.

That put a huge smile on my face that I think will stay there for a while. Those kids were amazing and even better was the actual interactive dancing going on between them. So much better than seeing a group of kids, sitting on their butts, staring down at their phones, barely acknowledging each other.
