I love Jimmy Kimmel, his style of delivery is so dry and his material is so unique in that you don't know when he's going to deliver a punchline that turns a mundane sentence into a joke.

3. As much as I can't stand Christie I have to say he can take a joke. Better to laugh at yourself

than cry. All kidding aside I am sure he is crying inside. I know that feeling. Better him than me. I am heavy myself and I laugh at myself and make jokes about myself but inside I do feel hurt. I figure I'll bet the person to the punch. But it is better to laugh then cry. I'd never let a person know I was hurt. I am sure it is the same for a skinny person.

4. That Santorum line was hilarious when I read it. But Kimmel just doesn't have good timing/delivery.

When he actually said it, it wasn't as funny. Maybe it's because I had just read it. But he couldn't get a giggle out of Cooper on any of this stuff.

that he doesnt have the timing for comedy. Most of the jokes worked. Some of them fell flat at the dinner. I attributed that to the audience. Its less familiar than the sound stage on your own show and a bit more distinguished than a Sunday night at the LaughFactory in Peoria.
