1. It's obvious that he's a moron because of the background

Why the hell is Reagan everywhere.

Do they *EVEN* know that if Reagan was a candidate in today's GOP - he'd be thrown aside for someone more to the right of him?

that we felt bad because nobody wanted to vote against a black guy on a secret ballot because they didn't want to seem/feel like a racist?

Or that every black person voted for him solely on that basis? Because there are no white people anywhere who voted for McCain because he was the NOT BLACK candidate?

the Limbaugh crowd.

It dismisses the realities of the Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton campaigns,

along with the obvious appeal of the brilliant, charismatic, and highly

credentialed candidate Obama.

Those qualities don't do much for low brows like Walsh and Limbaugh and their

ilk, so they they either "don't get it" or pretend not to.

5. And Walsh won

because he's stupid.

This is one of the teabaggers I so hope loses in November. He's such a prancing arrogant showoff; always working to get facetime in front of the camera even though he has nothing constructive to say.

6. I lived in Walsh's district when he won

and he won by only 295 votes.

The incumbent, Melissa Bean, was shocked, as most of us were.

One of the big reason this idiot won was that a "third party" candidate ran

and garnered the votes Melissa would have received.

My understanding, as an activist in the district, was that Bill Scheur ran

against Melissa, not because he thought he could win, but because he had a personal

grudge against her, which, if true, was a dumbass thing to do.

Bean wasn't a progressive, but she was a HELL of a lot better than this moron.

Hopefully there will be no 3rd party candidate this year and enough people will be turned off by this disaster that he won't be coming back.

I used to live in IL; Henry Hyde's old district, that area was pretty conservative pretty conservative.

12. You're welcome and no, I don't think there will be a third party running in the race this time.

He's running against a double amputee war veteran, Tammy Duckworth, and I don't

think the "dead beat dad" will survive against her, Thank God!.

I see you live in the SF Bay area now...Lucky you!...I lived there many years

ago and I'm often sorry I left, although it's way different now (especially in terms of expense)

then it was back in my happy hippy days....Still sometimes think of retiring there,

if it's economically feasible for me. Enjoy!

13. I remember Tammy Duckworth

I think she ran in 2006 in my old district. She lost, but not by much, which was a surprise because given the history of DuPage County she never should have even gotten that close. Glad to see things are changing there.

I came here in my "hippy daze" and never left. I do miss seasons though.

14. Yes, she's a nice person and a very impressive candidate.

I was redistricted out of her district, but volunteered for her anyway in the primary.

You came in your "hippy daze" and never left!...Good for you...I wish I had done

the same...Unfortunately, it was my first time away from home

and I ran into some problems I didn't feel I could handle, so I went back

to Philadelphia which is my home town. I Lived there for many years, but now live

in Chicago (which I LOVE, BTW) even though it's not "San Fran" as we called it.

Funny you should mention the seasons...I never missed them when I was there (especially the winters!)

That area's weather is "perfect" for me -- not too hot, not too cold.

He... for example is a moronic asshole who was elected by low information voters who support idiots like Walsh.

No inconsistencies there.
