TYT: Earth’s First Jedi Temple To Be Built

"Thousands of Turkish students have petitioned their university to build a Jedi temple, in response to an increase in the number of mosques being built on campuses across the country.

The country-wide online debate started last month after the rector of Istanbul Technical University (İTÜ) Mehmet Karaca announced that a “landmark mosque” would be built on the university campus, Turkish newspaper Hurriyet Daily reported.

Almost 200,000 thousand students have signed an online petition calling for the creation of the mosque on the campus, leading to more than 20,000 İTÜ students starting a similar petition calling for a Buddhist temple.

Meanwhile, at Dokuz Eylül University in the western province of Izmir, more than 5,000 students have called for a Jedi Temple."

I didn't read far enough into the website to find out whether or not they have their own Jedi temple, but it definitely looks interesting. So if the old Star Wars movies gave you religious experiences or inspiration, here is the religion for you!

5. I Could Not Find Any Evidence of an Actual, Physical Jedi Temple

after perusing the website of the Temple of the Jedi Order, so I wrote them an email asking them if they had built, or have, an actual, physical Jedi Temple. If they already have a functioning Jedi Temple, then The Young Turks are in error about the one in Turkey being the first, and need to be informed about it. I will keep you posted as to the results.

But wouldn't it make more sense for these young students to use their wn force to change our society and help stop all the wars that are draining us?

7. The Temple of the Jedi Order People

just wrote me back, and told me that they don't have an actual physical Jedi Temple that one can visit, that it is only online, in the virtual realm. They do offer Jedi training courses online and all sorts of cool stuff like that. So, The Young Turks are not in error that this will be the first actual physical Jedi Temple to be built.

Yeah, it would be great if they could use the Force to stop all these terrible, needless wars. Perhaps these Jedis should all let loose their light sabers on Darth Cheney!
