... of which we are mostly uninformed today. But look at Haiti now. The poor country has been ostracized since the Revolution, when it hasn't been exploited. Hell, even when it has been exploited.

I'd love to rec this a few thousand times, since I think the Haitian rebellion is history we should know, but once will have to do.
