Are they that stupid or do they think everyone else is too stupid to notice what they are doing?

They claim that giving money to a company will make the company hire more people. If the company is already not running at full capacity because it can't sell what it is producing, it would be insane to hire more people to make more of what they can't sell. Companys are not in the situation of being unable to expand for want of capital, they are sitting on piles of cash.

Demand can be stimulated by simply placing cash in the hands of REAL people. Give anyone who isn't filthy rich a dollar and they will spend it. That dollar then winds up in the hands of those other "people" (corporations) with the added benefit having purchased a product. So the company needs to make more and hire people and buy more raw materials.

Stimulate demand and the supply will appear out of thin air. Stimulate supply and you will get buggy whip factories doomed to failure.

Minnesota has some wonderful Democratic legislators. They may be outnumbered, but they have been heard, and that will make a big difference in the election.
