John McCain did not have a good Sunday morning on the Fox News program Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo. The 78-year-old Republican senator from Arizona, who recently announced he was running for a sixth consecutive term in the Senate, did a good job at showing his age and/or incompetence. The show became embarrassingly awkward when he could not, for the life of him, remember a fourth country Iran is supposedly occupying.

he was an Academy educated Navy flyer who saved several men while sustaining serious burns on the Forrestal in an incident that killed 120 sailors.

12. Being the son and grandson of admirals

his three "mishaps" (or more commonly known as crashes attributed to pilot error) were overlooked. If he had been anyone else he would have been considered a wash out and he would never have been shot down over vietnam. As for the forrestal he did what every other able body sailor was doing that day. No criticism of his courage, just his flying skill.

aircraft just because someones grandfather and dad were salts. My biggest problem with McCain comes from how he treated his first wife when he came back from Viet Nam. How he got caught with Keating's money. How he pandered to the Teapublican extremists.
