Will Lynch Change Holder’s Love Affair With Wall Street?

Those of us who follow the activities of the Attorney General of the United States were overjoyed when former AG Eric Holder announced that he would be vacating his office as soon as a replacement could be found. But in their rush to find a replacement, the Obama administration once again turned to a corporate attorney who has plenty of experience representing Wall Street – rather than an attorney that spent her career fighting for average citizens.

How will Loretta Lynch be any different than Eric Holder?

Fining the banks does jack. Having the perps in prison for 20 and their families in homeless shelters would send a real message to wall street

Defender of those who have suffered from betting on soccer games. Just sad. So many prosecution possibilities...but the Hispanic folk in FIFA get the first draw of blood. Doesn't sound promising, IMO.

....no matter who was Attorney General under which President, those charges would have been filed.

And what do "Hispanic folk" have to do with this at all??????????????????

she could do coming out of the chute, so to speak? So many investigations, one must choose. Flame away, her first choice stinks.

on the Bankers...they'd be behind bars. This is penny ante stuff in comparison. Brings up our old memories of Jack Webb. Cash in paper bags, then stick it to the Europeans. too...this is exciting.

And yes, I've been watching, thanks.

I cannot support another corporate Democrat for these reasons. At some point we have to take a leap of faith and put our support behind someone who truly wants to get our Democracy back on the right track. I know SCOTUS is important, but consider this, how many national level politicians with a proven track record that backs up what they are for will run for POTUS next time? None! How many will want to push for Publicly Funded Elections to help stop the corruption of our politics? None! These guys/gals don't grow on trees! Hillary will govern much like Obama and do some good things, but when it comes down to what Wall Street, NSA/CIA/FBI and the MIC want, we will get the short end of the stick!

And it is the flow that you don't see that is the problem.
Wall Street and big banks have gotten away with it for decades now...and no one has gone to jail...but prove me wrong when they prosecute them.

She just broke up the FIFA cartel. That took balls. Can you imagine? She took the job last week, and then she had to ok this op. That day. This woman does not care who you are. She is the man. Jamie should move t France.

Their arrogance is astounding. They truly feel they're above the law because they have DC and judges, including some from the SCOTUS, in their back pocket. Barack and Jamie are golfing buddies, and if that doesn't send a message, nothing will.
