Rand Paul: "Republican Hawks Created ISIS." Thanks For The Campaign Soundbyte, Rand!

Rand Paul remains a gift that keeps on giving. Hopefully, he just supplied the Democratic Party with a soundbyte for the next election.

"ISIS exists because hawks (aka "chickenhawks&quot in our Party gave arms indiscriminately, and most of those arms were snatched up by ISIS."
Note: And their current solution to this problem is to flood the zone with even MORE weapons.

"These hawks also wanted to bomb Assad, which would have made ISIS' job even easier."

"So, everything that they've talked about in foreign policy, they've been wrong about for twenty years. And yet they have somehow the Gaul to keep saying, and pointing the finger at others."

Shouldn't you be applauding him instead of looking for ways to divide?

I don't necessarily agree with Rand Paul on every issue, but you have to respect someone who operates on principle and not party lines. Clinton has distanced herself from Obama and doesn't seem to want to address foreign affair issues. If she states something from her own belief system I will give her credit too even if I don't agree. It is refreshing to see this in politics, even Clinton has given credit to Paul for his position on justice for example.

As a Canadian, we need more like Rand Paul, regardless of your opinion of him. America is going to be facing very serious domestic and International challenges in the next decade, the ability of the free world to continue to grow and proper will depend on these decisions. We have to maintain an honest system based on accountability, justice, due process and the like while ensuring we can compete with the developing economies of the world.

I hope you mean we need more people willing to disagree with the party line on important issues. We do not need more dimwit politicians who alternate between ranting and pandering.

you can have them! Please, do take them, and with our blessing!

Seriously - this is not a decent, or honest man. Check out his voting record, take a look at where he stands on the issues. The fact that he is (very) occasionally right about something is interesting and noteworthy, but not praiseworthy. What's makes it noteworthy (and so shocking!) is that the vast majority of republicans are so often wrong about everything, it's damned amazing when they're right about anything.

As an American, I believe we need less like Rand Paul - and more like Bernie Sanders.

Gaul was the Roman name for what is now the country of France. Gall is bile, or Yellow Bile, the dominant humor of those with a Choleric Temperament. In classical Greek Medicine, Yellow Bile, or Gall, (and the gall bladder is a sac-like organ that holds bile in reserve) was considered to be hot and caustic, provoking boldness, defiance, audaciousness, and similar emotions. Hence, we have the expression: "the sheer, unmitigated gall" to do something totally outrageous. For more information on this, and other psychosomatic aspects and manifestations of Bile / Gall or the Choleric Humor, please visit my website, greekmedicine dot net.
