Obama and Dems will push back hard, but they are not going to have the financial resources of Rove, The Koch Bros and their ilk.

Media will cover the ads, but won't fact check them, just like they did with Swiftboats for Truth. Despite conventional wisdom, Kerry campaign did pushback, but media didn't bother to cover it.
