But, while I hold no brief for bad cops and those that cover for bad cops, I don't see how this video relates to the one released on Amy Goodman's program.
Sometimes an LEO is just a guy doing a good deed.

Those deer do that - they seem to be hypnotized by headlights. Turning off the headlights and leaving them off for as long as you can will sometimes help but whatever you do - don't turn them on and off repeatedly - that just makes it worse.
That is a good patrolman - the ones around here really do love the wildlife.

Oh, and the deer was not literally frozen, it was figuratively frozen.

(2,397 posts)And I've had a couple of good scares where I came close on Hwy 126 out of Eugene. Yes, I think the horn does the trick. Officer needs national recognition for this form of humanity.
