Ring of Fire: Voters Are Rejecting The Ruling Class – The 1% Are Running Scared

Published on Aug 10, 2015

According to former Labor Secretary Robert Reich, the political surges of both Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders have much deeper meaning than most people have been willing to discuss. According to Reich, the surge of these two candidates represents a broader revolt against America’s ruling class.

Reich explains that the two candidates are both viewed as outsiders, and their growing support is a sign that the public is ready to do away with the ruling class that has dominated American politics for the last 30 years.

One of the most important points made is that this groundswell of support is not to be confused with the typical attraction that the public has towards newcomers in the political arena – Reich says that this attraction is much different.

3. No one's arguing that, it's the unpredicatability, MSM can't frame it & can't keep up with it.

I can't defend ANYONE's admiration for Trump, on any level, that's what is trending though from the "right".

People are just plain fed up & this isn't going away, it translates to Bernie from the left, and Trump to the right. It is what it is.

4. On the right, businessmen are regarded as outsiders, which is why

they attract the support of those dissatisfied with the usual line-up of governors and sanators.

In addition, Trump's way of speaking appeals to those with knee-jerk reactions to old straight white man problems: his words are noticeably less polished than those of "experienced" politicians.

Thus, Trump can maintain the image of an outsider, which appeals to a large chuck of the GOP part of the 99%. (Because the GOP part of the 1 % collectively wants him to shut up, I tell you.)

6. That alone is a win, he'll even go so far as an independent run if he's not successful with the GOP

nom. I say, go for it, and at the same time I get WHY that chunk of the GOP is fed up, they aren't being represented. The beauty of it may be that they are, maybe for the first time, realizing they never will be, not by a party that chooses Wall St. over Main St. every damn time.

You can't represent big money & be a champion for the people, one cancels out the other. Both parties are coming to that conclusion, finally...

He colcludes that if the world economy will ever be revived, it will be because the USA developes a new global surplus recycling mechanism. That initiative will never come from Wall Steet. Mr. Sanders, and to a lesser extent Mr. O'Malley, are our best hopes of reviving the world economy, simply because they refuse to be beholden to Wall Street and its defunct and toxic theories.

but not a seasoned politician. and what's worse for the power brokers is that he can't be bought/bribed/threatened/guilted into doing anything for the ones that used to wield power.

the puppet masters are no longer in charge. sucks to be them.
