Thom Hartmann: Will black pastors tell their flocks to stay home on election day?

Bishop Harry Jackson, Hope Christian Church / High Impact Leadership Coalition, joins Thom Hartmann. Reactions to President Obama's support of marriage equality continue to pour in - with some African-American religious leaders expressing their anger at the decision. Has President Obama hurt himself politically - and how will his decision affect the November election?

Ever feel like you are talking to a wall, Thom?

Jackson doesn't need any facts or history. He just "feels" things.

Raised by gay parents, and they ended up straight, he just said "I hear you.". Pror to that he said that they would need studies and he did not think that the kids would be straight. He will ignore all facts that do not fit his prejudice. It is sad and ironic that someone from a race which has, and still does, experience much discrimination and prejudice, to use the same arguments about where do you draw the line if you let gays marry! I kept waiting for the man marrying his dog.... That was definetly a mismatch Thom vs. the prejudice Bishop.
