No, not all conservatives are racists jerks, but a right winger is a bigot of one kind or another by definition.

A conservative gives priority to low taxes, small government and personal freedom. A right winger believes in an irrational social hierarchy and the right of some to disrespect others, who are expected by the right winger to just take it. Slavery was most certainly a right wing institution, but what has come to be called white privilege is and example of right wing, too. Kim Davis draws her assertion that she can deny marriage licenses to same-sex couples because she is a Christian, which in her little world not only makes her better than gay people but also trumps the authority of judges who tell her otherwise. I wonder if she would also deny a marriage license to a couple, straight or gay, who plan to get married in mosque or a Buddhist temple. I would be perfectly consistent of a sectarian bigot who also serves as county clerk.

This is what comes from being continually told by our President, and others, that we are an "exceptional nation". It breeds a sense of entitlement among the populace. As a behavioral model, a little humility couldn't hurt.

That said: Yes, that woman was being a jerk toward those workers. And as Chris Hedges is saying in every venue he can possibly find, Americans are angry because they understand, at some level, that things are not as they're being portrayed by our leaders and their Court Stenographers, and that anger is being directed onto the most vulnerable in our society. In this case, those restaurant workers.
